An exploration of the Calyx Krater form, this piece combines the trumpet-shaped body with sharp angular cuts on both the interior and exterior. Inspired by the casting molds Matthew developed in the Elegy collection, the design fuses organic and geometric elements, creating a powerful tension between tradition and innovation.
