The planar walls of the vessel are marked with the organic movement of liquid glass due to a carefully controlled process of heating and cooling during fabrication. The resulting visual distortion and placement of colored gradient catches light within to create a mesmerizing effect. The work is an exploration of the visual fluidity observed in two-dimensional Gothic stained glass within a three-dimensional hand-blown glass object.
